Hi All

My old system is getting a little slow so I wanted to build a new system but it's been awhile.
I've been reading on websites and forums and tried to find some desent hardware and now I need peoples opinion, suggestions and comments.

The System will mainly be used for gaming, photo/video edition and everyday uses. (Im not gonna O.C!)

Build is as following:

CPU: Intel i7-960 3.20GHz LGA1366
MOBO: ASUS P6X58D-E
PSU: Corsair TX650
GFX: Gainward gfx 460 1GB*
RAM: 12GB (3 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820104127 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145321
HDD: 60 GB OCZ Vertex 2 Series SSD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227550

*The GFX460 is from my old system its only 5 months old so i dont fell like replaceing it just yet, but I've been looking at some of the Nvidia GTX500 series cards namely the GTX580 and 590 but still a bit to expensive for my taste.

Any suggestions or improvement for this system would be greatly appreciated.

Got a few questions though:

1. Is 12GB going overboard? Lately sometimes when i edit photo/video the app crash saying: Not enough memory or Out Of Memory i got 6GB in this old setup.(I did a memtest and other testing all blocks working) (Corsair 6GB DDR2 PC6400).

2. I seen alot of people on this forum posting links for G.Skill memory are they better?
3. Is a TX650 okay? Do I need to go higher TX/HX 750/850?

4. Got 2 HDD from old setup i want into my new setup 2x WD6400AAKS but they are only Sata3 is it better to go get Sata6?

5. If they are still okay for this system, do i need to reformat them, or can i skip that. (They contain games and documents, no drivers or OS).

Thanks in advance for opinion, suggestions and comments.
