No VGA Signal, New Motherboard

So I just got an msi- 880gma-e45 motherboard, and an AMD 1090t hexacore, 4GB OCZ ddr3 ram.
My computer starts up, but has no VGA Signal. I tried removing everything but a stick of ram, the processor, and the monitor.
I swapped everything into my old computer. The power supply is only 250W.
What should I do to get the monitor working? The monitor worked with my old motherboard without any problems.

  1. the real culprit could be your power supply. did you use the same processor and ram on your older motherboard?
