when i scan my computer for virus my pc gets switched off all ofa sudden.But when i restart it again its showing a long short,long short beep message and a processor thermal trip message.What should i do now.???

What's the situation now? Reboot again. Install malwarebyte and try running a scan with that. If that didn't work. Go search up hijack this and follow their procedure to get their help. They will analyze your processes and such and help you identify and fix the problem(s).

processor thermal trip message would indicate your cpu is overheating due to the stress of virus scan--make sure your cpu fan is spinning ok and that your heatsink isnt clogged up with dust and fluff
