  1. If money is no problem then the i5 2500k if you're going to overclock or just the regular one without the k.
  2. i3-2100 is a good buy if u are short on money! You cant get much overclock on it though(~7%) But Still It Performs Better/Equal To Core2Quad's!
  3. i5 2500k is way to out of my budget, how is the performance of i3 at its price when compared to i5, i think i3 fits in my budget..
  4. Thinkin of go in for i3, 1x4GB DDR Corsair, 1TB HDD, pretty unware of clocking and how to adjust it, please throw some light, thanks much guys
  5. i3 2100 vs i5 2400.

Then the i3 2100 it is.

I think the one ram stick will hurt some performance and I think you need a p67 or z68 mobo to try even to overclock it. You`ll maybe get like 120Mhz out of it. Not worth to overclock
  6. With the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors while you can put memory in odd numbers you will get better performance if you can put it in a matching sticks. As for the processor the Intel Core i3-2100 is a very nice processor for those on a budget. The best part of going with this processor is that it will allow you to upgrade in the future other processors within this family.

If you are planning to upgrade to an i5-2500K or something greater in the future then get the Asus p8p67 Pro! (Great For Overclocking)

If You Dont Have The Budget, And Don't Care About OC'ing Get The Asus P8P67-M

    Or GIGABYTE GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3

The Motherboards Above Dont Have Onboard Video(P67 Chipsets Dont Have Onboard VId.)
As You Are A Gamer You Should Get A GPU For Sure! Atleast A 6750(5750)/6770(5770) Ati Or Nvidia GTS 250/450

Now If you want onboard video, And Lesser Cost,
    BIOSTAR TH67+

Well, Using 2x 2GB Sticks are better if you hav 4 DIMM SLots, because you can increase the RAM on the other Slots! But If You Have Only 2 DIMM Slots, Then Getting 2 x 2 GB Isn;t Gud If You Have PLans To Increase The RAM In Future! (I Mean If You Had 1 x 4GB, Den You Could Add Another 4Gb And Make It 8GB)
Although 4GB Is Plenty And Morethan enough for most games today... 8 Gb is an overkill actually!
  9. Thanks so much for the update, i got my answer regarding the RAM, on the Motherboards i will decide between the ASUS pro or M or GiGabyte soon, Gigabyte looks good and in my budget
