Olympus software issue

Any help appreciated, including recommending a more suitable group if
necessary.

I'm trying to install the software belonging to an oldish Olympus
digital camera. The disk is for Windows 95/8 but my OS is 2K [with NT
but I can't tell you much about that - this is a stand alone PC I got
from work].

So when I try to run the software I get the 16 bit DOS subsystem error.

Having looked about for a solution, I found this:

It is exactly my issue but it requires a 'server disk' to rectify the
problem, something I do not have.

I have tried installing more recent drivers directly from the Olympus
site but had no luck.

Any ideas how a stand alone user goes about rectifying this issue?
