Since you mentioned FSX (which I do as well) go over to AVSIM and check out their forums first. They recommend NVIDIA vs AMD for the GPU otherwise pretty open to whatever.

Start with this buddy

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?I...

its a newegg DIY PC Combo it puts together a very fine set of parts for a discount price if bought together. That motherboard is good for overclocking, no SLI/Crossfire on it because u listed no so its not needed. It comes with good memory, everything is top notch for the price. Best Bang for the buck.

The only thing u need now is around a 200 dollar graphics card and get a DVD/CD Burner and thats all.

I recommend the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Its a new product and the specs are amazing for the price, its even oc'd to 920MHZ.

And you can find a CD/DVD Burner for $20 which should come out to around $780 and then you would have some shipping to pay probably around ur budget range of $800.

If you can range ur budget by just a little bit more I would recommend you get the GTX 560 TWIN Frozr II OC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... Hope that helps!
