I see people asking why new boards dorn't drop usb2 when usb 2 is back compatble and so on with SATA II and III. PS2 is even older. I have had to replace all of mine because H55, H67 and Z68 did not have them. Why are they on most of the new boards?

It's nice to have a hard wired keyboard to evade USB device and Bios compatibility, I had an old athlon system which would not accept my usb keyboards or mice!
Also the cost of a full sata3 controller would cost a lot more than a mixed 3/6gb. You would be better off with a dedicated raid card any way.
