The HD 5850 is a better card and was on sale for 140 but it has already sold out :(

Most gamers choose full size MB for future upgrading to sli or crossfire setup

One more thing, only go with that sata 6.0Gb/s HDD if it is cheaper than the 3.0Gb/s, for mechanical drives the 6.0Gb/s makes absolutely no differance.

I like that video card you suggested jerreddredd. I don't really like the idea of the mini motherboard even though that is what I had on my build. The main reason I chose it was because it came with the possessor in a bundle that mlCaouette pointed out. If anyone has a better suggestion for a motherboard that has room for upgrading, while keeping me under budget, I would love the feedback.

no one caught this error?
Your getting a SATA III HDD, your board doesn't support SATA III, get this. The older SATA II counterpart.

I suggest getting this combo, it'll give you a cheaper 6870 for $200. Plus, if they honor it, you'll have a 20$ MIR.

Then just get this board, it'll give you the most upgrade room.

there was no error, a SATA III drive will run on a SATA II controller at SATA II speeds. Platter Drives don't need the SATA III bandwidth anyway. The drive you linked only has 16mb of Cache vs the 32mb's of cache the drive he had selected. it would most likely be slower.

Not sure if the GPU/CPU combo saves money (+$10 more), but the GPU MUCH faster. if its a good deal if its in your budget, I'd go for it.

the full size MB is a good idea if you are thinking of CF in the future, otherwise save money and go with the mATX MB.
