God I hope so. It says designed for the 2nd generation intel core family and the Intel z68 & p67 & h67 & h61 platforms.

Yes it will but there is no way you can ever use that much memory. I wouldn't put more than 16GB in a computer. Essentially any 1.5v DDR3 memory will work.

Its for video editing.

"I'd also get DDR3 1600 instead of 1333"

Is the difference noticeable? Or will it not matter because its 32 anyway..?

I render test 'SQL' on my X79 and even with 32GB I have to chop the data into pieces. My servers are off the charts with RAM; I agree you can never can have 'too much.'
