Last response: in Motherboards

Hello, I recently decided to do a mayor upgrade on my system. I went from an AMD Anthlon 64 X2 3800 to i5 2500, which meant I had to change motherboards. My new motherboard is a gigabyte Z77X-D3H. After installing the components successfully, I couldn't start windows. After the bios the loading screen would last for about 2 seconds before the blue screen. System repair was also unable to help. Ive tried to understand this, maybe this is a problem with the disk interface because of switching he different motherboard chipsets. I tried to install the drivers from the disk while using my old motherboard, the installation froze, and manually downloading the drivers also didn't work as it threw out multiple system requirements messages.
Reinstalling windows is not an option as I have lost my cd. Could you please tell me how to get my motherboard working?

Normally you need to reinstall windows when changing boards.

Such changes cause this blue screen issue you are seeing.
