My lappy uses Intel PM965 Chipset which supposedly supports 800mhz FSB... but recently I downloaded a bunch of benchmark tools like CPU-Z, SisSandra, Everest and even Intel Processor ID Utility, and they are all reporting that both T7300 and T9500 I have are running at lower speed due to the FSB setting at 667Mhz...
I have tried
1. Using high performance power option, with 90W AC and battery both attached.
2. Stress CPU using Prime95 and retest.
Yet nothing changed. BIOS sees the correct CPU speed however. But I've seen people with the same laptop with T7300 showing 199Mhz FSB speed on CPU-Z... So there's gotta be something wrong with mine.. any idea?
