Hi everyone,

Just built this pc

Not sure what voltage should look like in CPUID hardware monitor program. Wondered if you could have a look.
No overclocking done. AMD Phenom IIX4 965 processor, Corsair HX 650W power supply, Radeon 6850, G.Skill Ripjaws 1333MHz 2x2GB

12V 11.68
5V 5.04
VIN3 1.69
VIN4 2.93
3.3V 2.41
VIN6 1.75
VIN7 2.30
VIN8 1.69

The min and max are all close or exact to these values

Processor 15.20W Min. 15.20W Max. 113.40W

Radeon 6850
VIN0 0.95
Temp 38c

my core temps are all good, in the low 30s.

I'm concerned about the processor under the Powers section. The max is so much higher than the rest.

Thanks for any help

Software voltage readings are mostly useless. You have to use a multimeter to get accurate readings.

If those were accurate 12V and 3.3V readings the machine would probably be running poorly, as they are bad... but they are certainly not correct.

There would be nothing wrong with 125W + on that processor, so you can rest easy.

You can expect a broad range of power consumption as AMD cool'n'quiet technology adjusts the power consumed based on work load. All modern processors do this.
