Disappearing Drives

I ran into a problem with all of my drives disappearing.

Everything was working fine & now none of my drives show up in my bios. I have 4 Hard Drives and 1 DVD Drive. The DVD Drive does have power & will open. The hard drives feel like they are spinning up too. I tried flashing the bios, but it didn't work.

I tried powering two of the drives from another computer, but no help.

I have tried all of the available open SATA ports, and Bios settings, with no success.

At this point, I am thinking the onboard SATA controller has gone kaput.. Sound reasonable?

Try the drives on a different motherboard.

Done.. they all work fine on another mobo.

I'd try resetting your BIOS back to defaults to make sure nothing got screwed up in there before RMAing the board.
