Hello,

I am having some issues with my rig. It started with constant BSODs, led to my removing the RAM to test it, reinsertion of RAM no display would show on the monitor. This, in turn, led to swapping the graphics card for another, testing that, finding no results, and then resetting the CMOS. Now, I get nothing more than a feeble attempt of the system to boot, and I am out of ideas. Any amount of help would greatly appreciated. A cookie if you tell me it's not the mobo going bad.

Does you rig have a video card? If the fan is running and there is NO display AT ALL then it's the video card and have you checked the MOBO while it's running? If the fan of the cpu moves then It works. I have a feeling it is the MOBO or Vid card. Or the slot could be (gulp) dead.

Go through the no boot thread in the sticky. Link in my sig.

If that doesn't help, try breadboarding, which is linked in the troubleshooting thread.

Also, some more tips courtesy of JSC (author of the breadboarding thread)
