So basically I am trying to build a decently cheap gaming computer/daily use computer. I already have my build basically complete:

Mobo:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-198&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=10#scrollFullInfo

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103846&cm_re=amd_phenom_ii_x2_555-_-19-103-846-_-Product

RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277&cm_re=g.skill_ripjaws_series_4gb_%282_x_2gb%29_240-pin_ddr3-_-20-231-277-_-Product

GPU an ATI 5770 is the plan for now.

I just need help finding a Monitor, PSU, and a good case.

I'll probably be gaming at 1080p, no higher. Size, a 20" is good. I just don't know much about Monitors and which brands are good. <$200 for the Monitor pl0x. Cases I'm just horrible at choosing. I constantly change my mind. <$75 for the Case preferably. As for the PSU, I realize this is probably the most important part of a computer, so I'll pay the cost for the needed unit. BUT, I do not know how big of a supply I'll need.

I do plan on unlocking the CPU into a Quad sooner or later. I'll probably need to once Battlefield 3 comes out :D I also want to replace the 5770 with a 6950 around Christmas time and turning it into a 6970. Possibly two 6950s after a year or so.

SOO, I just need help with those 3 items mainly. Any comments/ratings on the planned build and if it'll work or not are welcome.

Any and all help is highly appreciated, please and thank you! ^_^

Monitor --- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001444 I'm a bit of a Samsung Fan personally ... This one should work alright for gaming with the low latency and all!

Motherboard --- The AMD bulldozers are coming out in June and ASUS have "confirmed" that they will support the bulldozer on their AM3 800 series motherboard (to my knowledge) So it might be an idea to get an ASUS motherboard (even though ASROCK are a division of ASUS) in order to confirm compatability. If you are to do that then I'd recommend getting a cheaper CPU as to not waste money something like this for MoBo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131631 ... source http://techreport.com/discussions.x/20608

GPU ... the 5770 is pretty quick and will get you started but the 6950 is certainly the way to go!

PSU ... Nice Seasonic 850 watt in order to give enough juice for the crossfire. Please spend enough money here in order to not skimp on power as the 6970 will eat the juice as will the Phenom II.

Good case ... The cooler master HAF series is good - good quality at low prices,

Sorry I cannot post anymore links .. I'm out of time. But all these are on newegg!

The 5770 is slightly slower than the GTX460 (768M), whih might be pushing it for newer titles at 1080P later; I'd concur with doubling up on the gpu budget for a 6950....

Given the outstanding performance of the I5-2500K, I'd not buy an AM3 system hoping the AM3+ cpus exceed (assuming they deliver on time) or even match the current I5 based systems...; were this true, I think benchmarks would already have been leaked hinting as much....

As for X3's unlocking, a few are successful, however, given that even the i3 dual core defeats all X4s inluding those clocked 400-500 MHz faster, it merely reduces the deficit 'somewhat'.
