ATI 4890

Hi Guys

I currently have a ATI 4890 in my i7 system. I am contemplating upgrading my gpu has prices have dropped recently. What is the community’s opinion?

More about 4890
  1. New cards will give better performance, but you may as well wait until there's a game you like that doesn't play as well as you want with your card.
  2. well another option is trying to find a cheap 4890 online somewhere as 2x4890 is quite a setup still
  3. The reason I didn't push the crossfire/SLI setup is because an overclocked i7 system can handle two GTX 480s (or GTX 570s, HD 6970s, or 5970s). I don't know about dual GTX 580s. If he's interested in keeping the same setup for three more years, he'd be happier with dual GTX 570's down the road than dual 4890s.

i know, but getting a 4890 is pretty cheap and would be quite a powerful gpu setup, though since he hasn't responded we have no idea
