I'm not sure I would go with WD green series. It doesn't get the greatest reviews, but I guess you could return it if it doesn't work.

The only other thing I see is I'm assuming you don't want sli in the future cause that M/B only supports one x16 and one x4.

I Dont Know About That

iv been using my WD green drives for 4 years now my original 500g was a bit slow 90mb/s but still going strong and never had a problem with it
every time i update a drive (also have a 1.5 and a 2 terra both greens ) they use less power and run cooler
my 1.5 terra gives me about 110-120mb/s and my 2 terra gives me about 138 mb/s
i allso have samsung spinpoint f3 witch is ment to be fast and that gives me 147mb/s
so the wd drives are realy good if you ask me
nice and cheep and nice and strong and nice and fast and Low power
What more do you want ?

i choose the green series because i want something with low noise level, so unless i wont hear the difference between the blue series, then i can go for the blue one

I assume your going to overclock the i5-2500k CPU becuase thats what it was designed for otherwise go for a i5-2400 and save your money when the i7 Sandy Bridge start dropping in price and upgrade later. Depending the types of games you play it can be tough becuase the limiting factor is you MOBO not having SLI. You have one of the best graphics card compared to pricing IMO and not to run it in SLI in the future is a shame. Serious gamers run SLI and its a whole new experience if you have never done it. Otherwise decent machine. FYI the canadian dollar is worth more then the US dollar so factor in the exhange rate if you are paying with US dollar cuase it will cost you more. But I assume you live in Canada.
