Been trying everything to get Crossfire to work with my 2 XFX 5770s. I've searched for it and found no answers that have worked. I've tried playing around with the bios to get it to work. Uninstalled drivers/reinstalled. Pulled cards, etc. I've been trying off and on to get this for over a year now. Get tired of it not working so I give up and then try again a few months later. The Crossfire tab/option doesn't even show up in the CCC under Performance. My mobo is a ASUS M4A78-E. Under the CCC Information Hardware Tab this is what shows:

A couple of the things that show up that I don't really understand are the: Maximum Bus Setting PCI Express 2.0 x8 under the disabled card and the: Maximum Bus Setting PCI Express 2.0 x2 under the Primary card. What would cause the one card to show as disabled under the CCC? and why is the Primary card showing up as x2 under the maximum bus setting? Any more info needed let me know and I will provide what I can. This is really irritating trying to figure out. Again the main thing I am trying to do is get the Crossfire to work with these 2 cards. Thanks for all the help, it is much appreciated.

** I guess I should add that I have a 1000 Watt P/S and the crossfire cable installed on the cards.

Hey,
Not sure what the problem is but I did notice that your motherboard has onboard graphics. I wonder if that has something to do with your issue. Have you tried putting one of the cards in your 2nd slot by it's self to see if it works there? Maybe the problem is with the 2nd pcie slot on the board?

Sorry it took so long to get back, I have been a bit busy and just now got a chance to try out the 2nd slot by itself. This is what comes up with the 2nd slot only...

Not to insult your inteligence or any thing :) but do you have the flat wire conector running between the two cards or the hdmi cables from your monitor pluged into the mobo instead of the card its self.
