GPU Under-Performing?

Hello,
Just purchased an ASUS 6850 card and thus far have been extremely happy with it.

I was gettin around 30-40FPS on Metro 2033 on very high and resolution was 1920x1080 might drop to just over 20 in heavy graphical scenes.

But in crysis which i dont think is much more demanding then Metro i'm gettin between 5 and 15 on high an even when i turn down the resolution to 1680x1050 and setting to low i'm only getting around 20-25 :/ There must be something wrong no?? I could be wrong and be expecting to much but if anyone could help also its installed on my slow WD Green HDD ut so was metro i have an SSD installed to if it would a difference i would install on that :/

ps. the card is OC'd to 900/1100 on stock voltages.

System:

i5 760 @4GHz
Asus 6850
8gb DDR3 OCZ GOLD
Hanns.G 24" 1920x1080

Check your Crysis settings. It's not as demanding as Metro 2033. Perhaps you have a strangely high anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering?

You know what, I should've left this to someone who has tweaked Crysis settings exclusively.

Thanks for the reply, i got it in the end, it was that it was running in dx10 mode and not dx9 now i'm gettin around 40FPS on high with 4xAA
