Psu compatible with motherboard?

i have a asus rampage 4 motherboard that has a 24pin power connector, and a 4,6,and 8 pin power connectors all on the motherboard...now my psu with the case im thinking of getting says 20+4 main connector, is this compatible with my motherboard? the psu is 1000w
