I want to build a Dedicated Music DAW/Video Editing Computer.

Hi Guys,

I'm new on this site and also new to PC's (I'm a MAC man) and certainly building them.... Ok as the Thread says I want to build my own computer and i have a few things I have looked at and was wondering if any one could help/throw some light as to if i'm heading in the right direction or just basically help me out....

Ok the case im thinking is going to be the CoolMaster Cosmos S, MotherBoard - Asus Sabertooth X58 with an Intel i7 960 Processor being cooled with a CoolMaster V10 and to be honest thats as far as i have got.....

I would like to run the maximum RAM in it which I think is 24Gb but once again not sure what type/make, and would want to be OverClocking it (I know it's probably hard but I'm willing to learn and also ask loads of questions).

I will be running Windows 7 Pro 64bit, Sony Vegas Pro 10 and Sony Acid Pro. Might also have adobe Premiere on there as well.

Would any of you guys be able to help me out...

Are vegas and ACID CUDA accelerated? Premiere is for rendering and encoding.
