Hi all, first some system info then onto some issues.

System info

ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution MB
I7 2600k
EVGA GTX 580
1, VERTEX 3 120GB SSD
3, 1TB WD RE4 SATA 3GB 7200RPM 64MB CACHE ENTERPRISE HD
CORSAIR 1200
1 LG 21 BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X
WINDOWS 7, 64 BIT ULTIMATE
Over clocking set to auto in bios, same as turbo, etc.

So Far I have updated windows, Intel, something’s from ASUS but not the bios, Nvidia and when I went to DL MS office 2010 it started to freeze, reset finish dl ok, then setup outlook, froze, reset finished ok, tried to run one scan, froze, shut off, went to work. This is where I’m at and 8 hours till I get back home.

Also, I setup the 3 1tb drives in raid 5 in bios and Intel pops a window on my screen showing it but when I go into my computer I only see my SSD as C drive and blu-ray as D drive, why am I not seeing my storage?

should I reload windows and start fresh in a different order of doing things?

any and all advice is Appreciated!

Thanks

For the first issue, system instability is most often due to RAM.
1. Remove any Overclocking.
2. Set timings and voltage in BIOS to the Manf specs for the RAM.
3. Dl memtest86, create a bootable disk or USB with it and run it for at least 8 passes.

For the Raid array, are the drives formatted?

Lastly, take a look through the troubleshooting thread, link in my sig. There's a link to breadboarding there that you can use to eliminate several factors.
