Performance wouldn't be wasted massively.

Whoever advised you about your power supply is right, you'll need at least a 500W one to run something modern and capable.

The one you linked is meant for HTPC's, not gaming PC's. You need, at the very least, an ATI 5670.

Your overall machine will be held back by your CPU and memory however, it's a dual core linked to DDR2.

If it was me, i'd save your cash and perhaps make a more substantial upgrade or even think about a new rig altogether.

nothing will be wasted neither performance nor power.how much are you ready to spend on graphics card?budget?how much watts your power supply has and is of what brand?whats your screen resolution?gt 220 is waste of money.you can have better choices in that price point.
