I have a 4pin from my power supply running into the EZplug on the motherboard and have had it this way for a while now.
I just was looking through my motherboard manual looking at overclocking info and I saw that the EZplug is for supplying enough power for more than one graphics card. I currently only have one, a GTX 570HD. I may be adding another soon but my question is, will having this plugged in effect my system in a negative way? Damage motherboard? I have read before that your PSU should only supply as much power as drawn on by the system, so am I ok leaving this plugged in til I get my 2nd card?
