I7 2600k temp clarification needed

Well, I've found a lot of threads discussing temps but since this is my first build I just wanted to verify. My 2600k is stock @ 3.4 with an h50 and I idle around 40c. After using it daily for a month, gaming etc I have only seen my temps reach 50c one time and usually hang around the 48-49c range while gaming (anywhere from 15min to 5 hours or more) high to max settings on most games. The low is about 32c when I first boot. The h50 is push/pull with the same thermal compound that comes on it... I've reseated it once with no changes in temps. Games range but recently has been a lot of SC2, F3AR, L4D2 and TF2. So... normal? Or too hot? If its too hot would some AS5 be the first process of lowering it since I have a tube lying around? I'm pretty new to this whole thing so I just want to make sure my hardware doesn't burn up before its time.

Those temps are fine for that CPU. Folks routinely get into the 70s C overclocking the 2600k.

For your chip and heatsink your running completely normal. What is the room temperature the computer is in? like said above, you could overclock it a little with the temperatures your showing.

Fantastic temps... you should be very happy with them. Run prime 95 stress test and see what you get. I assume you won't even hit a max of 60.
