Building a computer, need help selecting a motherboard

Hey, trying to build a computer. Here are the links to the processor and video card that I want.

Intel Core i5-2550K

ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5 Radeon HD 7850 2GB

So it looks like I need a motherboard with 1x PCIe 3.0 slot, and a LGA 1155 processor slot?

Using those search criteria, NewEgg gives me 20 motherboards, and I am not sure which one to buy.

  1. Asrock Z68 extreme 3 gen 3-$129--For best price/performance.

    Pcie 3.0 support
  2. the motherboard you suggest looks great, but it says that PCIe 3.0 will only work with Ivy Bridge, and that Sandy Bridge processors will only work as PCIe 2.0. Will this board work for me, or should I find a different one?
