I have an AMD FX-8120 on Gigabyte 970 mobo with 4 x 4GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz (product info). The bios automatically sets the speed to 1333mhz. When I try to set the clock speed to 1600 the computer won't boot and the bios resets to the memory to 1333mhz.
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can successfully increase the memory speed? Should I try adjusting the voltages? The memory voltage is currently set at 1.51v and the nb voltage is set at 1.105v. Thanks.
