6850 with the 955 BE or 6770, core i5 2500k ?

Hello, I dont know what I want here. I iether want more cpu power but less gpu power.......or vice versa. Now the 955 be is IMO no where near the core i5 2500 k or not XD. But the 955 is about 120 $ cheaper. Im going to play skyrim,crysis 1 and 2, empire total war and medieval 2tw. And finally....company of heroes with a demanding game mod XD. So I am open for suggestion's What do you think I should do....I cannot have this system go over 800 $ and the windows 7 disk will kill me
