Hello,
I was wondering if i could manage the banwith coming it through my router...
For example:
I want my desktop to get 4mbps.
The rest of my wireless devices to get 2mbps.

My internet connection is 6mbps and my desktop is hardwired to my router(linksys wrt300n)

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I don't think you get that kind of facility with domestic-type routers.

The only thing you can do is set the priority of packets coming from nodes of your network of the type of packets going out.

The good advantage of new routers is that they provide the same bandwidth, meaning that all devices connected to the same router will get equal bandwidth. If your internet connection is 6mbps all devices will get 6mbps.
