I am using a Sony Vaio vpcf12jfx/b on Win7 Ult 64bit. I have a an i7, nvidia 330m, and 4GB of DDR3. I am trying to use an HDTV to watch a movie while I play Civ5 on my laptop. The video is incredibly laggy and its really annoying. Yes, I know that laptops are that powerful, and the 330M isn't that great but there has to be something. Are there any settings I can play around with on Win7 to fix it? Would buying 8GB of DDR3 help?

Nope 'cause you are forcing the video card to output to two monitors which naturally stresses the card.

Since it is a laptop you cannot upgrade the video card. You can try to lower your Civ5 settings.
