So i have a haf x case, and because the blue edition isn't available in Australia i want to swap out the standard 200/230mm fans for cooler master megaflows (blue LED). I want to be able to keep the functionality of the front LED fan though that is connected to the case and you can press a button to turn the LED's on or off, my understanding is that a normal LED fan has some sort of jumper you can use to turn it on and off, so i figure if i could get some wiring that matched up then i could connect all the LED's to the one button? anyone know if what i'm asking is possible and if so where would i obtain the appropriate wiring etc?

My guess would be that cutting the red wire (+5V) would cut the LED. Buying a cheap LED fan would allow for some experimentation. Place a switch in there and you'll be able to control the LED's seperately from the fan (running on the yellow wire (+12V) and black wire (ground, or - wire).
