Is it possible to replace 700 MHz CPU i Dell Latitude L400 with some faster cpu?

if you want speed get a new machine with a Pentium Mobile processor.
even if you could upgrade the 700 the max speed would be 1000mhz.
I doubt you would even notice an increase.
