Core Temps not detected in monitor programs

I just finished upgrading my CPU to an AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE (Deneb) and I am trying to check temps at factory settings. I have tried Core Temp and CUPID. Both are reading 0 for the temps. My motherboard is OC friendly so it shouldn't have any problems detecting temps. I installed everything on the disk that came in the box for the CPU and all Motherboard drivers should be up to date. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

My system specs can be found in my signature.

Edit: My signature didn't post so here are the specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Asus M4A785-M Motherboard
AMD Phenom II x4 955 BE (Deneb)
4 GB of DDR2 800 (G.Skill)
HIS IceQ X Turbo H687QNT1G2M Radeon HD 6870
Seagate Barracuda ST3750525AS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB

It took me a while but I found the solution with google.

If the "core unlocker" is enabled then the temp sensors are disabled. I disabled it in bios and now the temps are reading properly.

DHICKS19: Thanks for the input. I got a laugh out of that one..too bad it has a soul again. 0 C temps would be nice if it was accurate.
