I have everything else picked out, but I can't decide which graphics card to use. I can't find which is more powerful. Thanks in advance!
The choices are:
-Sapphire Radeon HD 58702 2GB
-EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked 1024MB

I wasn't aware 2gb versions of the 6870 were out. Do you by chance mean the 6950?

This is a good review: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_5...

It shows the 560 being much better at lower res but as you kick up the settings the 6950 tends to pull ahead.

He clearly typed 5870 buddy.

I'd got for the GTX 560 and overclock it as hell.

Sorry, I ment the Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 2GB. It's the same one on the "deal of the day" article for Feburary 24. Sorry for the confusion.

I knew it :)

2gb on a graphic card = gimmick.

What is your resolution ?

If you've got more than 1 screen, okay for the 2 gb else it doesn't matter.

I would still go for the GTX 560, preference of the MSI Twin FROZR II, it can reach 1ghz core !
It almost reach GTX 580 stock.

Bah sorry. I'm so used to seeing 6950 vs 560 because they are very close in price.

As it would happen, the review I linked does have a 5870 in the list, and it is generally faster than the 560. They're either very close or else the 560 is way behind - I would guess it's more a driver issue than anything. I don't know.

But yeah the 2gb VRAM isn't necessary unless you go with mulitmonitor. The nice thing about a 560 is better 3D gaming support if that's an option, and also PhysX if you play any of those 13 games.

The 560 Ti Reference and the 5870 run pretty much neck and neck. Following results are from Guru3D:

Well the 2GB. version of the card is the Eyefinity 6 version that supports up to 6 monitors so Yeah the 2GB. might be needed !! -- ANd actually Today Newegg had the Sapphire version on sale for $199 - $20 MIR so $179 which is a very good deal for $50+ less than a 560 !!

For the price you can't beat it. go for that 5870
Else I'd choose 560 since it can be overclocked like hell.
