I want to buy a graphics card it has ddr3 but my main board use ddr2 will that be a problem?
My operating system is 32 bit Card is 64 bit.
The card i'm looking at:
SC-S54501GD3HSL
Sapphire HD5450 chipset 1Gb 64bit DDR3
Can a too big a monitor harm a small graphics card.

Thanks very much for the help
(i know it seems like stupid questions but rather save than sorry)

The video card VRAM and system DRAM are totally different and can be mixed so you'll be fine with a video card that uses DDR2 DDR3 or even DDR5 even though your system uses DDR2 DRAM --- the video card controls it's own VRAM and the system does not ever interact with it directly.

And no too big of a monitor can not directly harm a graphics card -- however the larger the monitor the higher the native resolution usually is and so the more powerful a video card is needed to run games etc. at that resolution while keeping the speed playable. so with an lower end video card you might have to run your monitor at a lower resolution in order to keep game Framerates playable.

If you intend to play games, you may find the HD5450 too weak. If you're not a gamer (or only play Flash-based games or things like Plants vs. Zombies) you'll be fine with it. Otherwise see if you can afford a HD5670.
