Hello,I am new to computers.I have a old one and I Took the CDROM out because it didnt work ,I put another used good one in ,but I never took the old oneout of the add or remove hardware.I just figured the plug and play would see the old one out and new in.Well it didnt ,so now windows wont come on .I tried to use the start up disk and go insafe mode toremove old CDROM and put new in ,but it wont letwindows come up ,It says might have a virus or not enough memory or cdrom missing.It dont have a virus and i ran a scandisk it says ok.it says it needs to be partitioned.I dont no how to that or to load Windows98 up on itI put windows 98startup disk in and windows98 in CDROM it loads the floppy but not cdrom I dont think it nows there is a cdrom.Please help me I am willing to learn .
