Which CPU should I use? Phenom II x4 970 or x6 1055t

Hi so I fried both my motherboard and CPU, I thought that I only fried the CPU so I RMA'd it (the 970) and went to frys electronics to buy a new CPU, I was planning on getting the 955 and overclocking it but they had the 1055t for $150 with a $50 gift card so I got that. Well I ended up killing this other motherboard I had so I have a down computer. RMA'd the original fried mobo and will be doing the same with the one I just killed. Anyways....

I have 2 CPU's, not sure which one I should use though. The AMD Phenom II x4 970 or the AMD Phenom II x6 1055t. Whichever one I don't use I'm going to sell on ebay.

The most stress I put on my computer is playing games..

Thermaltake TR2 RX 750W Bronze ( I know, it's not very good. I'll be replacing eventually)
