I recently bought an Asus motherboard (P5Q Pro Turbo). I am replacing my OEM motherboard. So the only thing which is new is the board...CPU, video card, etc. all are known to be working with the OEM board.
When I power it on the fans spin and lights go on, but there is no output to my monitor (through an EVGA GTS 250). Is it a dead motherboard? I bought it off eBay....
- there's no speaker built-in to the board....how can I know if it's beeping at me?
- my PSU only has 4 pins for the CPU power...the board has 8. I plugged it into just the rightmost four pins...could that be the problem?
