Hello,
Is an 4670 overkill for my good old Athlon XP 2.2GHz? Or should I go for cheaper card for this CPU... I'm not looking for total rig change. PSU should be strong enough - very solid 350W.

thanks for all support

well the card could be a little bit "overkill" as everyone says je je.. but it's really ok and you might have both bottleneck with cpu and ram memory. but nothing to worry about just turn resolution down and high details ;). it will work fine for sure.
are you buying this card brand new? maybe it is time for a total update. Even something second hand that is dual core with a PCIE slot would be a significant step up and then you have access to newer cheaper PCIE cards. http://cgi.ebay.com/Dell-Optiplex-745-Business-Desktop-Dual-Core-2-8Ghz-/380318992164?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item588cc74724
