after swapping old card for new 560, machine comes on but doesnt seem to post, no graphics, mouse, keyboard

What power supply do you have?

Make sure all cables are securely connected, that your card is fully and properly inserted in the slot, and that your PSU is powerful enough to power the card.

Can you list you motherboard, CPU, RAM and other specs of your machine? That would help with troubleshooting.
