How can i tell if my PSU is affecting my graphics

hi there,i have a gaming pc with a cheap greatwall psu.550watt,i play alot of call of duty black ops,i get alot of stutter and frame freeze,how can i tell if it is my psu affecting my graphics??..i want to upgrade to a gtx460 card but maybe my psu is the problem

One way , other than the visual issues you describe, is to look at temps (use speccy or hwmonitor or gpu-z) and see how hot the GPU is running. A failing/defective PSU can contribute to the GPU working harder than it should and thus generating lots of heat.

Failing psu will cause system reboots not stuttering.Cod black ops has documented stuttering issue.Nothing new there.

i ran the test for 25 mins but stopped it coz i thought the temps,cpu and others were getting high,but i dont really understand the graph readings properly
