im buying a new motherboard for a new build im doing. I currently have a GTX 560 that i just got BUT due to money issues i wana go with an AMD processor. Are there motherboards that'll take a GTX 560 with an AMD processor or does that not exist?
oh really? I see where it says "AMD compatible or AMD ready" or whatever like it makes it sound like it'll only take AMD video cards with AMD processors.
motherboards are more or less classified by the purpose of use, and the socket size/type for the cpu. Most gpus are universally used in pci express 16 slots, and disregards what kind of motherboard its on as long as the card itself fits the slot and is paired with an appropriate cpu.

That's what they want you to think. Just a marketing ploy, nothing more.
