I need some advice, on which is a better choice for gaming and music. Soundcard and headset combination or just going with a headset that comes with software that virtually simulates 5.1/7.1 surround sound?.

I have recently been looking at the A40 Astro's - http://www.astrogaming.com/audio-systems/a40-audio-syst... , and i'v heard they are the best headset's on the market at the moment. I'm wanting opinions about which has the better quality the soundcard and headset combo, or headsets the come with there own little drivers and such?

I'm mainly interested in best quality, not best money saving combo's for a certain quality, just the abosolute best quality and how much it costs for that quality, and also how they stack up in comparison to each other if possible as we get more posts and such.

Turtle Beach is a very good brand.. Excellent performer in all aspects, music, gaming, and movies. They have multiple 7.1 Dolby digital surround sets. I have em and I love can't play without them. http://www.turtlebeachreview.com
