Hello,
I have an old MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR boar. Just installed an ATI Radeon HD 4600 AGP. It's supposed to have built in audio, but when I hook it up to my LCD, it just plays the video. I'm using it's native HDMI output. I don't know if I'm supposed to connect anything else to the video card. I thought audio work automatically. All I see is the JAUD1 jumpers on the video card. My motherboard uses NVIDIA audio. Can anyone assist?

Hello,

I think that with older graphics card models, you need to connect a wire inside on the motherboard from a SPDIF out to the input that is on the video card itself. It's a small 2-pin connector. Anyway, that's what was needed with a GTS 250...They are both about the same generation.

Good luck,
