Single or dual?

I have 6gb of ram (3 x 2gb) and I was wondering if I should run 4gb in dual channel or stay with 6gb of single channel? Any thoughts on what's better/faster?

In most benchmarks there is a gain of 3 to 4% in running dual channel over single channel. I would stick with the 6GB. You will get more from the extra 2GB than you would gain from going to dual channel.
