:hello: Hello all
I'm looking to upgrade my video card for my optiplex 745 desktop
http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/opti_745techspecs.pdf
I want it to run WoW at decent settings http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&tag=wowsupportedvideo&rhtml=true
But I'm confused on what specs to look for in a video card. I understand 1g would be better and I'll have vista soon (not sure about 32 or 64 bit version) so please educate me on what to lean towards when gauging prices.
Also should i invest in hdmi ? I plan to get a new monitor soon.
And power supply, is 280 enough?
Thanks for your time

first of all did you have slim case or normal tower case? if you have slim case you'll have to look for low profile card. honestly i never play WoW so i never did know how much graphic power the game need. however it is easy to recommend what type card to get if we know your preferred gaming resolution ( in general gaming situation). regarding the windows i think you should go straight for windows 7. as for 32 or 64 bit it depends on how much ram you want to use for your system. for the power supply i think it is better to say away with low wattage one if you really want to get dedicated graphic card inside you machine. lastly please provide your exact pc spec ;)
