Since it's going to be my first computer build just wanted to double (more like quadruple) check to be sure i won't be having any compatibility issues. Any last minute tweak suggestions would be appreciated as well.

If you know of any better deals on reputable sites/stores or just a suggestion for a different way to go i would love to hear it. Kinda looking for a gaming/longevity setup. I'm upgrading from an old P4 if that tells you how long i keep computers... I appreciate any help you guys can give me, even if it's just alleviating my worries about ordering the wrong things!

I too recently upgraded from a P4 and all I can say is "Wow." 6-weeks later and I'm still grinning like a school boy who walked into the wrong locker room. Your build looks solid. I would upgrade the motherboard to one that does crossfire so you can add another 5850 later on when games will demand it (a year or so down the road). The ASRock P67 Extreme4 is a good bet for $45 more. Also, looking at that monitor, you might want one with a little bit quicker response time. 5ms or less is your best bet for 1st person shooters. Overall though, really solid build.

Lucky you live near Microcenter hehe. Have you checked TD? I know Newegg is hard to beat but sometimes you can find a deal there.

Antec might roll out some rebates for their PSU's since it is a beginning of May. I seen the current ones expire on 5/4.
