Need Opinions

I have built systems in the past, mostly low end systems for friends and Family, however this new system is going to be my personal gaming system. I'm willing to spend around $3600, so any advice would be most appreciated. This is what I have come up with so far:

- Asus Crosshair IV Extreme Motherboard
- AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition Thuban 3.3GHz
- Antec High Current Pro HCP-1200 1200W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
- Antec DF-85 Black Computer Case
- Ultra ChillTec Black Overclocking CPU Cooler
- 2 GIGABYTE GV-N570OC-13I GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
- CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000 (PC3 16000) Desktop Memory with Air Fan Model CMT12GX3M3A2000C9
- Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s (will go SSD at a later time)
- Thermaltake CL-O0027 TG1 Extreme High Grade Thermal Grease
- Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64BIT Operating System Software
- Asus VG236H 23" 2ms 1920x1080 Full HD 120Hz 3D multimedia Height & Swivel Adjustable WideScreen LCD Monitor w/nVidia 3D Vision Kit hard bundle

Thanks again for your insite.

At this budget level you can get into an Intel Sandy Bridge build. Since those recommendations are plentiful, my comments on your AMD build are below...

CPU - The X6 1075T BE will save you some money and you can set the multiplier to the 1100T settings manually (they are the same CPU with the exception of the multiplier setting leaving the factory).

MB - Good board, but 700 series chipset. Look for an 800 series with SATA 6.0GB/s and USB 3.0. There are good ASUS options, but IMHO the ASROCK 870 Extreme III is the best bang for the buck.

MEM - All AM3 motherboards have dual channel memory controllers. Install them in pairs not set of three. The Corsair Dominator modules are good as are the GSKILL Ripjaws.

And the SB recommendations begin in 3... 2... 1...
