Nvidia Geforce 6600GT 6600 GT 512MB AGP Video Card

Hello,
I've got a 2002 Gateway desktop w/Pentium 4. I've got a NVIDia GeForce T4 4200 card, but need to upgrade. My fear is that I will purchase the wrong board and not be able to send it back...and of course I would like it now. LOL I know that the computer doesn't have a PCI-E slot, but has PCI slots. can I upgrade to any board that has a PCI slot? I think the NVIDia 4200 I have was in a "AGP" slot..does that sound right? So if I wanted to upgrade to a Nvidia Geforce 6600GT 6600 GT 512MB AGP Video Card would it fit my computer?

  1. Yes, it would fit into your computer as long as you have an AGP slot.
  2. i second that it is compatible, since u got a agp slot in that pc and the 6600gt agp is agp compatible :)
