Okay so here's my latest build for my friend which will primarily be used for gaming. I have pretty much assembled the parts and just need a critique with suggestions (if any are necessary) around the same price range; I would however appreciate some help with a excellent 24-27 inch monitor in the 100 to 200 range. My friend is not into overclocking but might consider it down the road. Crossfire is unlikely but minutely possible. If it stretches the bank too much, he'd willingly forgo it. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I am however curious as to the selections you made as they seem to simply reflect a personal preference for certain brands. I was hoping you could provide more information on why you made those selections. Outside of the Gigabyte board (a brand which I am quite fond of), I really can't see how your selection provides better value than mine, especially why you picked a 750 power supply. I hope I don't come off as rude I just like to be informed about my decisions.

Thanks.

the 2500k cpu can be overclocked, the 2400 cannot.. the power supply will give you room to add something later

As far as the Intel® Core™ I5 2500K is simply put one of the best gaming processors on the market. The Intel Core I5 2500K will add a lot of long term value to your build with the ability to overclock. Now both power supplies are good if you go with the 750 watt power supply you will be well set up if you move into an SLI or Crossfire in the future.
